Robinson Crusoe Island is located at a distance of 674 kilometers in the West of Latin America. The mountainous and undulating terrain of Robinson Crusoe Island has enhanced the beauty of the island. According to archaeologists, the huge terrains of Robinson Crusoe Island were formed by huge flow of lava long ago and the valleys and ridges were formed by intense erosion. In the South of Robinson Crusoe Island lies a narrow peninsula named Cordon Escarpado, which attracts large number of tourists for its natural beauty. The major tourist attraction of the peninsula and Robinson Crusoe Island are the beautiful blue lagoon, the coral reefs, white sandy beach, the palm trees, traditional local music, tropical fruits, and off course the livelihood of the islanders.
